In Chateauguay, on December 28th, 2016, at the age of 91, Mr. Walter Korchinsky passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He is now reunited with the love of his life, his late wife Ruth Barney.
He is survived by his daughters Sylvia (Michel), Nancy (Bart) and Debra (Majid), her grandchildren Mathew, Jennifer, Vanessa, Kevin, Emily and Shawn, and other family and friends.
He will be resting at the funeral parlor:

on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 10pm also on Wednesday, January 4th from 9:30am to 11am. A commemorative service will then take place at 11am in the Chapel of the parlor, followed by the burial in the Hawthorn-Dale Cemetery (15005 Sherbrooke East, Montreal).
The family would like to thank the staff of the 2nd floor of the Centre Champlain for the good care provided to Walter.

Je suis attristé d'apprendre la mort de mon vieux compagnon de la prison Champlain-de-Châteauguay. Vladimir avait l'habitude de dire que la vieillesse n'est pas l'âge d'Or mais plutôt l'Age de l'impuissance. Je vais le regretter, et je sais que ses filles l'ont bien entouré et réconforté jusqu'à la fin...
