It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on February 2nd, 2018 of Brian Walsh in Victoria, BC. At the time of passing, Brian was surrounded by his family and friends. He leaves this world at peace with himself.
Brian had a long adventurous career with the airlines be it in Iqaluit, Whitehorse, Hawaii and finally as a Country manager with Canadian Airlines in China. He lived and travelled the world more than most. Following his retirement, he obtained his Ph.D. and wrote several best-selling books on accelerated learning. It is ironic that ultimately it was a brain tumor that took Brian.
Born in England, Brian was the fourth son of Noel J. and Katherine (McCaul) Walsh of Montreal. Mourning Brian’s passing are his five brothers Tony (Kingston, ON), Robin (Chateauguay), Chris (Ottawa), Derek (Montreal) and Greg (Toronto), their spouses Jean, Lorna, Carol, Richard and Enrique, his nieces and nephews Kathy, Bruce, Craig, Wendy, Jeff and Dianna and also their children Caroline, Laura, Bradley, Matt, Stephanie, Alicia, Danika, Roxanne, Alexie, Regan and Jayna and several close friends in Victoria, Montreal and other parts of the world.
For Brian, have a glass or two of (red) wine and toast life. In his words, ‘’Live life well and make the most of it.’’
