Obituaries

Here is the obituary for

LANGEVIN (Née FABER), Catherine
2018-08-10

Feb.1927 - Aug.2018

It is with great sadness that we said farewell to our beloved mother on Friday, August 10th after her courageous battle with cancer.

Loving wife of the late Guy Langevin, she is survived by her devoted children and their spouses; Carol (David), Daniel (Olga), Jeff (Yvonne), Susan (Laurent) and her adoring grandchildren; Melissa (Rob), Vanessa (Chris), Stephanie (Olivier), Chase (Cassie) and her wonderful great grandchildren; Emily, Abby, Nicolas, and Eva. Also survived by her brother George (Betty), and several nieces and nephews.

Always the fashionista, Catherine, known as Kay or Cathy to her friends, embraced the latest trends in all aspects of her life. She easily conversed and opined on all current events and mentored those around her with her years of wisdom.

Her family always came first, yet always found time to give to strangers & those less fortunate.

Once you met her, you never forgot her.

Our family would like to thank the amazing team at Cedars Cancer Center (MUHC), as well as the Palliative team at Anna-Laberge hospital.

She will be sorely missed and will live forever in our hearts... until we meet again.

Cremation and a family Celebration of Life has already taken place.

Testimonies of sympathy

Mes sympathies pour le décès de votre mère. Elle était une femme toujours souriante et intéressante quand je la rencontrais. Pas facile de perdre une mère, elle est aller rejoindre son mari qui l'attendait.

The greatest pride for a mother is her children. Her greatest legacy is her family. I?ve been blessed to meet her daughter Sue many years ago and privileged to still call her one of my dearest friends to this day. Only an amazing woman could?ve put on this hearth such an beautiful human being. Our thoughts are with your family and as difficult as this is, she lives on in each of you for ever. From our family to yours.

My heartfelt synpathies for all of you. I remember Auntie Catherine with much fondness. She sure was a fashionista. She was always very beautiful and a wonderful lady. She was able to die with dignity as was her choice.
