A death occurs
The loss of a loved one is a difficult step that is unfortunately bound to happen at some point in our lives. The emotional state in which it puts you through makes all the tasks related to the passing seem more complicated. This is why the Complexe Funéraire Châteauguay has a competent team of counsellors that is ready to help you at any given moment.
When a death occurs, a simple call at 450-699-9919 (24hour/day, 7 days/week) is necessary. A counsellor will then guide you through the first step. An appointment to plan the funeral arrangements will then be set with you, at a time that is most convenient for you. We will take care of coordinating everything with the Church, cemetery, newspaper, legal documents, etc. Our purpose is always to ease you through the process.
For your appointment at the parlor, you will need the following information: full name of the deceased, place and date of birth, social insurance number, Health Insurance Card, driver’s licence, etc. If the deceased was married at the time of death, we will need the same information for the surviving spouse as well as the date and place of marriage. All this information is needed so we can complete several legal documents for you.
