Voici les détails de l'avis de décès pour

PRIMEAU, Frederick Thomas Athanase
2018-07-27

(Fred, Freddie, Dad, Gpa)

1934-2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Primeau on Friday, July 27, 2018, at the age of 83, after an aggressive and valiant fight with acute myeloid leukemia.  Fred was born in Montréal to parents René Primeau and Margaret Harney and deeply rooted in Châteauguay. Fred is survived by his children Fred Jr. (France Dutemple), Micheline (Rod McDonald), his grandchildren Renée and Aidan Foley and his great-granddaughter, Paityn Morrow.  He will be greatly missed by many, many friends.

In 1954, Fred attended the American Art School in New York City and honed his already amazing artistic talents.  His career included years with Morgan’s (HBC), the Montreal Star and then officially retiring at Nordair.  Having never used a computer, his dogged determination allowed him to masterfully continue his career as a freelance graphic artist, right up to the very day he entered palliative care at Anna-Laberge Hospital.

Upon graduation in 1958, Fred was drafted and became known as Private First Class US51427788 until receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Army in 1960.  Fred was passionate about the game of golf, taking years to perfect his game and then years following that to try and match his incredible score of 66, 6 under par at Bellevue in 1969.

Family and friends will gather to remember Fred at:
