Passed away peacefully at the Kateri Memorial Hospital on September 4, 2020 at the age of 106, surrounded by her granddaughters Awi, Leonda and Kathy.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph Sakokenhiatha Kirby and sons Frank, Norman and Ronnie.

Cecelia had 12 children Herbie, Freddie, Dan, Sam, Barbara, Darlene, Jackie, Carol and Lorna, 46 grandchildren, 109 great-grand children, 82 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great grand child. She was baptized in 1955 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She will be remembered for her remarkable strength, sharp-witted sense of humour, and her love and devotion to her family.

Cecilia will be laid to rest on Sunday September 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Protestant Cemetery in Kahnawake.
