Voici les détails de l'avis de décès pour

HICKS, Robert
2022-05-01

(1956-2022)

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Robert Hicks` passing on Sunday, May 1st, 2022. A man of pride and humility, he decided early on not to share the details of his recent cancer battle with anyone outside his immediate circle. Over the past three and a half months, he faced every day with laughter, strength, dignity, and heart. We’ll always remember his generosity, his goofy sense of humour, his integrity, and commitment to his values. He was a loving husband to Joanne (born Cote), a beloved father to Jennifer and Jeffrey, and a cherished grandfather to Elisabeth and Jacob.

Our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has laughed with him, loved him, and will miss him. “Everyone wants to be a Bob”. -Robert Hicks

Visitation will take place this Friday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by the Freemasons services at 5:00 pm and the funeral services in the chapel at 6:15 pm at

My dear Joanne, my heart goes out to you for your loss. I always enjoyed the conversations I had with Bob at the summer BBQ's. I am sorry I was not able to attend the services as I have been on call at the hospital. I send you my love.

Dear Joanne, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Elisabeth, and Jacob. I am sad to hear of the death of your husband, father, and grandfather. I wanted to share a thought, Blessed be . . . the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, know that you will get hope and comfort to get through this difficult time. Sincerely, Virginia Allen (Has anyone ever told you how much your husband looks like Bobby Orr?)

Dear Joanne, Ron and I were talking today of how much we enjoyed it when you brought Bob to our events. He had a joie de vivre that was infectious. I am very sorry for your loss and I know he will be very missed, but I also know he was very loved and that is alot of positive energy in this world. Chris
